The formula for the area of a trapezoid is:

A=(1)/(2)h(b_1+b_2)

Where h is the height and b_1, b_2 are the parallel lines or bases

1) We have trapezoid with:

\begin{gathered} b_1=5yd \\ b_2=23yd \\ h=12yd \end{gathered}

Using the formula:

A=(1)/(2)12yd(5yd+23yd)=168yd^2

2) The dimensions of trapezoid 2 are:

\begin{gathered} b_1=1.1cm \\ b_2=3.4cm \\ h=2cm \end{gathered}

Using the formula:

A=(1)/(2)2cm(1.1cm+3.4cm)=1cm\cdot4.5cm=4.5cm^2

3) The dimensions are:

\begin{gathered} b_1=17.75m \\ b_2=10.25m \\ h=8m \end{gathered}

Using the formula:

A=(1)/(2)8m(17.75m+10.25m)=4m\cdot28m=112m^2
