Given :


\begin{gathered} f(x)=-(x+2)(x-2) \\ g(x)=2|x+2| \end{gathered}

We want to find the solution of f(x) = g(x) using graphical method.

To acheive this, we need to plot the graph of f(x) and g(x) on the same graph.

The graph of f(x) is a quadratic graph, facing downward

f(x) and g(x) will intersect at two points. The values of x where the two graphs intersect is the solution to f(x) = g(x)

The graph of f(x) and g(x) is shown below

From the graph shown above, we can see that the graphs of f(x) and g(x) intersect at (-2, 0) and (0,4).

That is when x = -2 and when x = 0.

Therefore, the solutions to f(x) = g(x) are

x = -2,

And

x = 0

The first two options are to be checked.
