Tom is going to rent a truck for one day. There are two companies he can choose from, and they have the following prices. Company A charges an initial fee of $31 and an additional 50 cents for every mile driven. Company B charges an initial fee of $20 and an additional 70 cents for every mile driven. Answer:

Go with company A, because below

Explanation:

$31+50x=??? would be cheaper if you are going more than 50 miles, if you're going less than 50 miles you'd want to choose company B because you'd ultimately pay less once it's all said and done.
