In order to calculate the amount of zinc in the chemical, we can use the following rule of three:

\begin{gathered} \text{grams}\to\text{ratio} \\ 462\to14\text{ parts} \\ x\to3\text{ parts} \\ \\ (462)/(x)=(14)/(3) \\ 14\cdot x=462\cdot3 \\ x=(462\cdot3)/(14) \\ x=99 \end{gathered}

Therefore the amount of zinc is 99 grams.
