We have a bag of 20 carrots, all different, and we have to calculate the possible combinations in groups of 9 carrots.

We can calculate this with the formula for combinations (as the order does not matter):


_(20)C_9=\binom{20}{9}=(20!)/(9!(20-9)!)=(20!)/(9!11!)=167960

Answer: there are 167,960 possible combinatios
