To get the angle at H:

The total angle in a triangle = 180

< H = 180 - (90+ 62)

To get the length HI, the hypotenuse

\cos \text{ 62 = }(86)/(x)

\begin{gathered} x\text{ = }\frac{86}{\cos \text{ 62}} \\ \\ x\text{ = }(86)/(0.4695) \\ x\text{ = 183.185 f}eet \end{gathered}

The length HI = x = 183. 2 Feet to the nearest tenth

In ΔHIJ, the measure of ∠J=90°, the measure of ∠I=62°, and IJ = 86 feet. Find the-example-1
