Explanation:

In 1 day we have daytime and night time each 12 hrs

in the day time he climbs 5ft and at night he slips 2 ft

meaning he climbs a total of 3ft(5-2) each day

so to get the number of days he climbed uts 25ft /3 ft

Therefore he takes 25/3 days to reach the top

answer is approximately 8.33 days
