Check the intersection point where both lines meet at.

  • y lies somehow between -6 and -7 .
  • So it's approximately equal to -6.5.
  • x is equal to 2

So the co-ordinates are

  • (x,y)=(2,-6.5)

(2, −6.5), from the graph, point out the coordinates where both lines intersect each other. That is the solution for both the lines. Here the lines cut at x : 2 and y : -6.5. Therefore (2, −6.5) is the best estimate for the solution to the system.
