Apply the distance between 2 points formula:


D=\sqrt[]{(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2}

We have the points:

(x1,y1) = (-4,3)

(x2,y2) = (8,-6)


D=\sqrt[]{(8-(-4))^2+(-6-3)^2}=\sqrt[]{(8+4)^2+(-9)^2}=\sqrt[]{144+81}=\sqrt[]{225}=15

Distance = 15
