given

(6^7\cdot4^4\cdot2)/(6^5\cdot4^4\cdot2^2)
=6^(7-5)\cdot4^(4-4)\cdot2^(1-2)=6^2\cdot4^0\cdot2^(-1)=(6^2\cdot1)/(2)=(36)/(2)=18

Note 4 exponent 0 = 1
