Answer:

1. The numerator

2. the denominator of the fraction

3. 6/8

4. 2 badges

Step-by-step explanation: for number 4

Mr.Garcia is making badges. Each badge has 3/8 yards of ribbon. He starts with 3/4 yard of ribbon. We need to find how many badges he can make. The length of each badge is 3/8 yard of ribbon. The total length of the ribbon is 3/4 yard. To find the number of the badges is the quotient of the division of the total length of the ribbon by the length of each badge. The number of badges = the length of the ribbon ÷ the length of the badge. The number of badges = 3/4 ÷ 3/8. To solve the division of two fraction we change the division sign by the multiplication sign and reciprocal the fraction after the division sign. The number of the badges = 3/4 × 8/3. The number of the badges = 3*8/4*3=24/12=2. So he can make 2 badges
