Given:

a.) A circle with a diameter of 8 yards.

For us to get the area of the circle, we will be using the following formula:

\text{ Area = }(\pi D^2)/(4)

Where,

D = the diameter of the circle = 8 yards

We get,

\text{ Area = }(\pi D^2)/(4)
\text{ = }((3.14)(8)^2)/(4)
\text{ = }((3.14)(64))/(4)
\text{ = (3.14)(16)}
\text{ Area = }50.24yd^2

Answer: 50.24 square yards
