The missing parts of the proof are

3. Pythagorean Theorem

5. Definition of right triangle

6 Definition of cosine

8. Substitution property of equality

What is Pythagorean Theorem

Pythagorean Theorem states that In a right-angled triangle, the square of the length of the hypotenuse (the side opposite the right angle) is equal to the sum of the squares of the lengths of the other two sides. Mathematically, it can be expressed as:

c² = a² + b²

where:

c is hypotenuse,

a and b are the lengths of the other two sides.

So when a triangle can be expressed in this form, the triangle is believed to be a right triangle
