Solution

For this case we know that the price is 10$ per bottle with 8% of tax

We can find the tax using this:


(10)/(100)=(x)/(8)

With x= tax value, solving for x we got:


x=8\cdot(10)/(100)=0.8

Then the total price is: 10+0.8 = 10.8

Then we can find the change like this:

20-10.8= 9.2
