Solution:

Given the function below


f(x)=5x-2

Where


\begin{gathered} x\text{ is the input value} \\ f(x)\text{ is the output value} \end{gathered}

If the input value is 3, i.e. x = 3, the output value will be


\begin{gathered} f(x)=5x-2 \\ f(3)=5(3)-2=15-2=13 \\ f(3)=13 \end{gathered}

Hence, the output value is 13
