we have

-2x + y = 3 -----> equation A

5x - y = -3​ -----> equation B

Solve the system of equations

Solve by elimination

Adds equation A and equation B

-2x + y = 3

5x - y = -3​

-----------------

-2x+5x=3-3

3x=0

x=0

Find the value of y

substitute the value of x in equation A or equation B

-2(0)+y=3

y=3

therefore

the solution is the point (0,3)
