The volume of a cone of radius r and height h is given by:

V=(\pi r^2h)/(3)

The cone in the figure has a radius of r = 2.1 cm and a height of h = 6.2 cm.

Substituting:

V=\frac{\pi*\lparen2.1cm)^2*6.2\text{ cm}}{3}

Using the value 3.14 for pi and calculating:

V = 28.62 cm 3

You should write 28.62 in the first box and 3 in the second box (for cubic cm)
