The given system of equations are,

\begin{gathered} y=2x+2 \\ y=3x \end{gathered}

Equating both equation implies,

\begin{gathered} 2x+2=3x \\ x=2 \end{gathered}

Put 2 for x in the equation y=2x+2 implies,

\begin{gathered} y=(2*2)+2 \\ y=6 \end{gathered}

The solutions are x=2 , y=6.
