The amount of water added is,


\begin{gathered} W=d* t \\ =(13.5)(6)\text{ }in \\ =81\text{ in} \\ =81\text{ in(}\frac{1\text{ ft}}{12\text{ in}}) \\ =6.75\text{ ft} \end{gathered}

Thus, 6.75 feet of water added in 6 hours.
