Find the area of the rectangle:

  • A = (3 + 12)*7 = 15*7 = 105 cm²

Find the area of triangles:

  • A = 1/2(3 + 15 - 9)*7 = 1/2*9*7 = 31.5 cm²

Find the shaded area:

  • A = 105 - 31.5 = 73.5 cm²
