The volume of a pyramid is:

V=(1)/(3)* B* h

Where B is the area of the base and h is the height.

Since it's a square pyramid, the base has the shape of a square. So it's area is:

B=5in*5in=25in^(2)

And we have that the volume is 225in³. We can replace these values into the formula for the volume and solve for h:

\begin{gathered} 225in^3=(1)/(3)*25in^2* h \\ (3*225in^(3))/(25in^2)=h \\ h=27in \end{gathered}

The height of the pyramid is 27 inches
