Given triangles, XZW and XZY are right-angle triangles.

Using the Pythagorean theorem for XZW, we get

XZ^2+WZ^2=WX^2

Using the Pythagorean theorem for XZY, we get

XZ^2+XY^2=ZY^2

XZ^2=ZY^2-XY^2

Using the Pythagorean theorem for WXY, we get

WX^2+XY^2=WY^2
undefined
