We are going to use the formula for the slope of the line with points A(2,5) and B(-8,-4). x1= 2, x2=-8, y1=5 and y2=-4

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)=(-4-5)/(-8-2)=(-9)/(-10)=(9)/(10)

The slope of the line is 9/10
