x^2-18x-57=6
x^2-18x+81-81-57=6
(x^2-18x+81)-81-57=6
(x-9)^2=6+57+81
(x-9)^2=144
\sqrt[]{(x-9)^2}=\sqrt[]{144}
x-9=\pm12
x=12+9=21
x=-12+9=-3

x=-3

x=21
