48% in simple fraction is 12/25

First we start to convert 48% to a fraction.

48% = 48/100

Now we find the (GCF) or the greatest common factor of 48 and 100.

4 is the greatest common factor.

We divide the numbers by the greatest common factor to simplify the fraction to its’ simplest form.

(48/4) / (100/4) = 12/25

To transform a percentage to a simple fraction we divide the number by a 100, then we have:


(48)/(100)=(12)/(25)

Therefore 48% in simple fraction is equal to 12/25
