We want to list the steps involved in multiplying fractions;

Taking an example;

(2)/(3)*(3)/(4)

First steps are;

- Multiply the numerators together

- Multiply the Denominators together

\begin{gathered} =(2*3)/(3*4) \\ =(6)/(12) \end{gathered}

Next is to;

Check to see if the product can be simplified;

(6)/(12)=(1)/(2)

So, we get the product to be;

(1)/(2)
