The given sequences are

\begin{gathered} 2,4,6,8,10\rightarrow(1) \\ 2,4,8,16,32\rightarrow(2) \end{gathered}

In the sequence (1):

\begin{gathered} 4-2=2 \\ 6-4=2 \\ 8-6=2 \\ 10-8=2 \end{gathered}

There is a common difference of 2

Then it is an arithmetic sequence

In the sequence (2):

\begin{gathered} (4)/(2)=2 \\ (8)/(4)=2 \\ (16)/(8)=2 \\ (32)/(16)=2 \end{gathered}

There is a common ratio of 2

Then it is a geometric sequence

The first sequence is increasing by 2

The second sequence is multiplying by 2
