If you’re trying to write an equation for the linear equation based off a graph. First, find two coordinates, in this case, it gives you them. (-2,5) and (2,0) this will give you the slope then you’ll need to identify the y intercept, which is the coordinate where x=0.

The y intercept appears to be in between 2 and three, could be 2.5. But to be sure…

Find the slope

(0-5)/2+2= -5/4

Substitute slope into equation below
y=mx+b
y= -5/4x+b

From this point, substitute the values of either coordinate.

I’ll use (2,0)

0= -5/4(2)+b

Then solve for b

b= 5/4(2)
b= 5/2

So your linear equation is

y=-5/4x+5/2
