Given

\frac{x^{(1)/(2)}}{x^{(1)/(6)}}

Solution

Apply exponent rule

\begin{gathered} x^{(1)/(2)-(1)/(6)}=x^{(3-1)/(6)} \\ \\ \\ x^{(2)/(6)}=x^{(1)/(3)} \end{gathered}
a=(1)/(3)

We have

\frac{x^{(1)/(2)}}{x^{(1)/(6)}}=x^{(1)/(3)}
