Explanation:

2/3-1=4

Multiply both sides of the equation by 3

2x-3=12

You move constant to the right and you change the sign. Like this: 2x=12+3

Then you add the numbers and you get 2x=15

Divide both of the sidea and you get:x=15/2 which is your answer
