To find the capacity in gallons we firs need to find the volume.

The volume is given by:


V=lwh

Plugging the values given we have:


V=(10)(15)(8)=1200ft^3

Now that we know that we need to convert it, to do this we multiply by the factor given:


1200(7.48)=8976

Therefore the capacity of the tank is 8976 gal
