Plugging the values given we have that:


18-120=-102

Therefore the absolute change is -102. (The minues sign indicate a decrease)

The percentage change is given by:


(V_2-V_1)/(\lvert V_1\rvert)\cdot100

plugging the values given we have:


(18-120)/(\lvert120\rvert)\cdot100=-(102)/(120)\cdot100=-0.85\cdot100=85

Therefore the percentage change is -85% (Once again the minus sign indicate a decrease)
