If the resistance is 150 Ohm connected to 300 volt line. Calculate the current drawn by the line.

__Given__:

The resistance of the line is,


R=150\text{ Ohm}

The potential difference across the line is,


V=300\text{ Volts}

The current is given by from Ohm's law as,


i=(V)/(R)

substituting the values we get,


\begin{gathered} i=\frac{300\text{ Volts}}{150\text{ Ohm}} \\ =2\text{ A} \end{gathered}

Hence the current drawn by the line is 2A.
