Kudzu as an autotroph means that produces its own food (any inputo of energy is actueal food), in this case through photosynthesis, thanks to chlorophyll it captures light from the sun and along with COâ‚‚produces the needed glucose to sustain energetic input in the cells. Another factor is the soil from which obtains nitrogen phosphorus and other minerals necessary to maintain cell function.
