Area of the given shape is obtained as,


\begin{gathered} A=(12*6)+(11-6)*4 \\ A=72+(5*4) \\ A=72+20 \\ A=92m^2 \end{gathered}

Perimeter of the shape is simply the addition of all the sides

i.e.


\begin{gathered} P=12+11+4+6 \\ P=23+10 \\ P=33m \end{gathered}
