Solve;


\begin{gathered} (3)/(4)x-9=27 \\ \text{Add 9 to both sides and you now have;} \\ (3)/(4)x-9+9=27+9 \\ (3)/(4)x=36 \\ Cross\text{ multiply and you now have;} \\ x=(36*4)/(3) \\ x=48 \end{gathered}

The solution is x = 48
