let us first calculate the slope:

m=(6-3)/(-1--2)=(3)/(1)=3

having the slope, we can use the slope-point equation and we get that

\begin{gathered} y-12=3(x-1)=3x-3 \\ y=3x-3+12=3x+9 \end{gathered}

so g(x)=3x+9
