Step 1

Find the equation of f(x)

\begin{gathered} The\text{ absolute value function is;} \\ y=a|x-h|+k \end{gathered}
From\text{ the graph the vertex \lparen h,k\rparen is 3,3}
\begin{gathered} h=3,k=3 \\ y=1,x=5 \end{gathered}
1=a|5-3|+3
\begin{gathered} 1=2a+3 \\ 2a=1-3 \\ 2a=-2 \\ (2a)/(2)=-(2)/(2) \\ a=-1 \end{gathered}

Thus f(x) will be;

y=-1|x-3|+3

Step 2

Find the equation of y= -f(x) then plot the graph

\begin{gathered} y=-(-1|x-3|+3) \\ y=1\left|x-3\right|-3 \end{gathered}

Thus the graph using the points below will look like;

(-4,4),(0,0),(3,-3),(6,0),(8,2)
