Given two parallel lines and a transversal

So, the angles (2x + 33) and ( 5x - 15 ) are congruent because they are corresponding angles

So, 5x - 15 = 2x + 33

Solve to find x

5x-15=2x+33

Combine like terms:

\begin{gathered} 5x-2x=33+15 \\ 3x=48 \\ x=(48)/(3)=16 \end{gathered}

So, the required angle = 2x + 33 = 2 * 16 + 33 = 32 + 33 = 65

So, the angle is 65
