5. A soccer ball has a circumference of 70 centimeters at widest polne. What the volume and total surface area of the soccer boll

According to our question we have :-


\begin{gathered} 2\pi r=70 \\ r=(70)/(2\pi)=(35)/(\pi) \end{gathered}

Now volume of the ball will be:-


\begin{gathered} V=(4)/(3)\pi* r^3 \\ =(4)/(3)*\pi*(35)/(\pi)*(35)/(\pi)*(35)/(\pi) \\ =(4)/(3)*(35)/(\square)*(35*7)/(22)*(35*7)/(22) \\ =5787.5 \end{gathered}

So volume of ball ia 5787.5 cubic centimeter

Now surface area of ball will be :-


\begin{gathered} A=6\pi* r^2^{} \\ =6*\pi*(35)/(\pi)*(35)/(\pi) \\ =6*35*(35*7)/(22) \\ =2338.6 \end{gathered}

So surface area of ball is 2338.6 centimeter square
