Nancy bought a pack of 10 cookies for her 3 children to share equally. How many cookies should each child get if the cookies are shared equally between the 3 children?

Given:

Total pack is 10.

Share divied in 3 children.

So each children share is:


\begin{gathered} 3\text{ total share is 10} \\ for\text{ each share}=(10)/(3) \\ =3.33 \end{gathered}

each children share is 3.33 cookies.
