A. Let's convert the following percents into a fraction or a mixed number in the simplest form.

1.) 24%

4.) 150%

To be able to convert percentage into a fraction, we just apply the following formula:

\text{ Fractional Equivalent = }\frac{\text{Percentage}}{100}

We get,

1.) 24%

\text{ Fractional Equivalent = }\frac{\text{Percentage}}{100}
\text{ = }(24)/(100)
\text{ = }((24)/(4))/((100)/(4))\text{ = }(6)/(25)

Therefore, the fractional form of 24% is 6/25.

4.) 150%

\text{ Fractional Equivalent = }\frac{\text{Percentage}}{100}
\text{ = }(150)/(100)
\text{ = 1 }(50)/(100)\text{ = 1}(1)/(2)

Therefore, the fractional form of 150% is 1 1/2.

B. Express each percent as a decimal.

9.) 8%

14.) 568%

To be able to convert a percentage to a decimal, we just divide all percentages by 100.

\text{Decimal Equivalent = Percentage }/\text{ 100}

9.) 8%

\text{Decimal Equivalent = Percentage }/\text{ 100}
\text{ = 8 }/\text{ 100}
\text{ Decimal Equivalent = 0.08}

14.) 568%

\text{Decimal Equivalent = Percentage }/\text{ 100}
\text{ = 568 }/\text{ 100}
\text{ Decimal Equivalent = 5.68}

Therefore, the decimal equivalent of 568% is 5.68.
