Solution

LMNO is a parallelogram

A Parallelogram has two sides parallel and opposite

NM = x + 27 , OL = 4x + 9

for a paralleolgram equate the two sides NM = OL


\begin{gathered} OL=NM \\ 4x+9=x+27 \\ \text{collect like ters} \\ 4x-x=27-9 \\ 3x=18 \\ x=(18)/(3) \\ x=6 \end{gathered}

The value of x = 6
