To find the surface area of a prism is defined by

P\cdot H+2\cdot B

In which P is the perimeter of the base, h is the height and b is the area of the base

according to the information

\begin{gathered} P=1.2+8.8+1.2+8.8 \\ P=20 \end{gathered}

since H is the height

H=2

Since the base is a rectangle the area is calculated like

\begin{gathered} B=(1.2)\cdot(8.8) \\ B=10.56 \end{gathered}
