Slope intercept form is:

y=mx+b

Where

m is the slope

b is the y-intercept (y-axis cutting point)

Now, the slope is given, so we have:

y=-2x+b

We now need to find b. So we plug in the point.

-7 in x

-4 in y

Thus,

\begin{gathered} y=-2x+b \\ -4=-2(-7)+b \\ -4=14+b \\ -4-14=b \\ b=-18 \\ \end{gathered}

So, the equation becomes:

y=-2x-18y = -2x - 18
