(\csc (x)-\sec (x))/(\csc (x)+\sec (x))

Let's rewrite the expression as:

((1)/(\sin(x))-(1)/(\cos(x)))/((1)/(\sin(x))+(1)/(\cos (x)))

Multiply the numerator and the denominator by sin(x):

\begin{gathered} ((\sin(x))/(\sin(x))-(\sin(x))/(\cos(x)))/((\sin(x))/(\sin(x))+(\sin (x))/(\cos (x))) \\ _{\text{ }}where\colon \\ (\sin(x))/(\cos(x))=\tan (x) \\ so\colon \\ (1-\tan (x))/(1+\tan (x)) \end{gathered}
