A 20N box is pushed 10m up a ramp in 25 seconds. How much power is required? The work out to lift the same box is 75 J. Calculate the efficiency

To now the power we need to:


P=(E)/(t)=(F\cdot d)/(t)=(20N\cdot10m)/(25s)=8W

The power is the ratio of energy over time, and the energy is the force applyed in the distance

For the efficiency


\eta=(75J)/(20N\cdot10m)=0.375
