Let the consecutive integers be x , x + 1)

The sum of the consecutive integers is 151, i.e

x+(x+1)=151

Open the bracket and solve for x

\begin{gathered} x+x+1=151 \\ 2x+1=151 \\ \text{Collect like terms} \\ 2x=151-1 \\ 2x=150 \\ \text{Divide both sides by 2} \\ (2x)/(2)=(150)/(2) \\ x=75 \end{gathered}

If x is 75, then the consecutive integer will be

x+1=75+1=76

Hence, the consecutive integers, x, (x + 1) are 75 and 76
