Solution

Given that a point A(-3, 2) is rotated 270° counter-clockwise about the origin.

The rule for 270° counter-clockwise rotation about the origin is


B(x,y)\rightarrow B^(\prime)(y,-x)

Substituting the coordinates of A, the coordinates A' will be


A(-3,2)\rightarrow A^(\prime)(2,3)

Hence, the coordinates of A' are (2,3)
