We have the function g(x):

g(x)=2x^2-3

We have to evaluate g(-4). We can do it by replacing x with -4 as argument:

\begin{gathered} g(-4)=2(-4)^2-3 \\ g(-4)=2\cdot16-3 \\ g(-4)=32-3 \\ g(-4)=29 \end{gathered}

Answer: g(-4) = 29
